double ShackBurger (without cheese) and fries | shake shack | scoreboard pavilion at the nationals park

The Nationals beat the Mets last night 8-7 with a dramatic bottom of the 9th 2-run hit from fan favorite Ryan Zimmerman. It was an exciting way to end a game where new starting pitcher Tom Milone hit a home run on his first Major League at-bat.

Equally exciting for me was sitting in the Scoreboard Pavilion section because it is adjacent to the Shake Shack stand. Like all other Shake Shack locations, the line is always long, and the signature crinkle fries are extra crispy. In comparison to its Dupont location, the ballpark ShackBurger patty seemed greasier, and the burger was a little light on ShackSauce. Still. No complaints here. The burger is just an excuse to eat a side of fries, anyways.
